Hotel Metropolitan Kaohsiung

the location was 8 min away from the mrt

my room was facing a busy street. right above the windows there are very bright lights that are very bothersome at night.i asked for a double bed but i got 2 single beds joined together.the room doesn’t not have a wardrobe or safety box.Room requires renovation.

Staff is very helpful. Room is spacious. Breakfast and snack bar is great.

Location and food

Noise from next door

The staff were very nice. The room was nice and cozy. Had a window and a cute graffiti of a mouse on the wall. Breakfast and coffee and jelly and even ice cream included for free!

The shower room was a bit dirty (in places, not all over the place). We also found someone’s hair on the bed… yuck!

good location

bathroom seemed to be almost as large as the sleeping space. sleeping space was a little tight. window was not air tight, mosquitos and noise could get in. expensive for the room quality

The hotel is at a convenient location, and it has parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. The snack bar was good, we liked the ice cream.

The facility is a little outdated.

Very clean. Staff helpful. Location fairly good.

Rooms are very small. Bathroom is tiny - shower is over the toilet although wasn’t as bad to use as it looked. Breakfast is not good. Also served in this very depressing windowless basement (would def skip it).

Staff are approachable and helpful. Beds are clean and comfortable, not too soft and not hard either. They have snacks, my children enjoyed them. Have car parking space nearby. Thanks to them, we had a great stay!

location is fine, breakfast is not really good

wifi is bad

The room was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit too small. Only 1 luggage can be opened at a time, so it's a bit inconvenient for 3 people stay.

Very kind and accommodating staff. Lots of freebies. Value fot money. Big rooms.

Great staff! Helpful, kind and pleasant ?Solid Breakfast, but gotta descend steep stairs to the basement. Afternooon also has complementary food: Steamed buns, ice cream, fresh popcorn and instant noodles, plus coffee, tea and juice.I think this hotel is a good value when including breakfast. Checkout is late: 12-Noon, so that is a plus! Our triple room, overlooking the main street was quiet and spacious with a large bathroom. TV only has one English language chanel: HBO.The hotel is a few blocks from the MRT and there are nearby bus lines. If you're happy to walk this is good location.

So. One troubling issue is that this is also a short time hotel. And sometimes, certain rooms will have obnoxious Anime sex noises. And during our stay, we observed working women and clients filter through the lobby. Whatever. Just be warned.

Friendly staff, 24h snacks and drinks at lobby, bicycle, breakfast so so.

No heating, room bit small, slippery taking shower in bathtub, poor sound proof.

Location is good Staff is friendly and professional especially Ms Lee

Staff was friendly, free ice cream, coffee, tea, steam buns, crackers and instant noodles breakfast was mostly Taiwanese vegetarian, but had chicken nuggets and French fries. It was okay free parking had fridges

Small rooms

Wonderful place, great location, nice stuff, super breakfest plus extra snacks and ice cream available in the lobby

Nothing to complain

Our stay later 4 days because it coincided with a typhoon. The staffs went to great lengths making sure our stay was comfortable, there's never shortage of food with the pantry being freely accessible by all guests. Bikers friendly. Hotel also provide bicycles for your explorations of the city for free! Healthy breakfast buffet!

The bed is comfortable so gotten goodnight sleep. Location was good as well. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was smaller than expected but it wasn't a big turn off. I think the washing machine wasn't thoroughly cleaned cause found some dirt? Or unwanted substance on a few clothes.

The staff, the lobby and the room are all good. The location is good, too. I don’t mind walking towards Talee Department Store. The parking is also free of charge.
